The band Another Round was conceived by drummer Colin Fiander. Colin’s drum style and technique have set him apart. His diverse talents behind the kit were noticed very early in his musical journey.  Colin’s smart rock sensibility came from listening influences like Lars Ulrich and Dave Grohl. After jamming for a while with a friend whom he had played earlier in his drumming days, Colin decided to get back out on the scene. The only thing missing was, well… the rest of the band.

Gilles Quenneville to the rescue! Gilles technical mastery of the fret board was noticed immediately. His background in alternative, rock and roll, blues, grunge, and heavy metal was a perfect match for Colin’s solid grooves. The first jam with the two made it obvious right away that there was a harmony to their playing styles.

After a seemingly endless search, guitarist Jeff “Toogy” Toogood joined the band. Over the years, Jeff played in many Classic Rock, Punk, and Metal bands. Jeff’s crunching rhythms and smouldering leads were welcomed by fellow band mates. The synergistic guitar styles of Jeff and Gilles create an unmatchable tone that is impossible for any fan to miss.  On top of Jeff’s musical talent he is also one of London, Ontario’s premier photographers. Jeff’s got the axe and enough desire to rock this town to its core!

After a continued search for a compatible singer, Matt Cockburn was an immediate hit.  As a singer, Matt brings the diversity and range needed to fill out the group. His raw energy and explosive stage presence are unmatched.  After playing guitar for years in various rock and metal acts, his pristine vocal talents needed a home. In Another Round, a home was found.
